After breakfast, you head to Arusha National Park, a small but scenic park ideal for your first safari experience.

The park offers diverse landscapes—from lush forest and open grasslands to the beautiful Momella Lakes and views of Mount Meru. You’ll likely see giraffes, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, and possibly black-and-white colobus monkeys in the forest.

A unique highlight here is the option for a walking safari with a ranger, giving you a more intimate connection with nature.

In the afternoon, return to your lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Stay at Green Mountain Hotel

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (about 2–3 hours).

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. During your game drive, you’ll explore the Tarangire River area, which attracts a high concentration of wildlife—especially in the dry season.

You may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birdlife. The landscape here feels wild and less crowded compared to other parks.

In the late afternoon, transfer to a lodge in the Karatu area (near Ngorongoro) for dinner and overnight.

Stay at Marera Valley Lodge

Early breakfast, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations.

The crater is a natural enclosure with a high density of animals, offering one of the best chances to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) in a single day.

You’ll spend several hours on a game drive across the crater floor, exploring grasslands, swamps, and the soda lake, often filled with flamingos.

After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
