Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire, about a 2–3-hour drive. Upon arrival, you’ll enter a landscape defined by ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which attracts large concentrations of wildlife, especially in the dry season. You’ll spend the day on a game drive, with excellent chances to see large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators like lions.
